Reference is made to the previous announcements dated 1 November 2016, 2 November 2016, 28 November 2016, 27 February 2017 and 8 May 2017 in relation to the Letter of Demand served by Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“PNB”) and Petronas Gas Berhad (“PGB”).             

For consistency, the abbreviations used hereinafter throughout this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the preceding announcements unless stated otherwise.  

The Board of Directors for MClean Technologies Berhad (“MClean” or “the Company”) wishes to update on the Plaintiff’s application for an interim injunction pending the trial of the action. The hearing for the interim injunction was initially fixed for 25.5.2017. However, the Plaintiff’s solicitors have on 25.5.2017 served a fresh Affidavit in Reply upon solicitors for the DWZ Entities. Counsel for the DWZ entities accordingly applied for a postponement of the Hearing so as to allow for a perusal of the new Affidavit in Reply and instructions on the same. The High Court granted the application for a postponement of the Hearing, which is now fixed for 28.6.2017.

MClean will make further announcement if there is any material development in the matter.
